It's unfortunate that the Lightning will have start the season 0-1
That's going to be one hell of a opening night game. |

Who do you think is going to be the opening night starter? Lindback or Bishop? |

I think the pre-season will determine that. |

I like the homestands, especially since they'll be having 14 of the last 20 at home. That could be huge if a playoff spot is on the line. |

How you guys feeling about joining the northerners?
There were a few years there where we were weak but they probably picked the worst time to throw you in there. All 3 Canadian teams are on the rise and Detroit is just a pain in the a-s-s
Never mind the fact that you probably travel twice as much as everyone else in the conference now. (Except Florida obviously) |

Love it as competition is always good. We really don't play that many games more 1 game really and 1 less against the Metroploitan division. I like the idea of playing the west home and home.Boston and Ottawa gave us the most trouble in years past otherwise no big deal. We have a nice opening and closing stretches. |

Radko "the destroyer" Gudas throws a hip check and a beauty and Brad "the rat "Marchand goes flying onto his ass and a new rivalry is born.

I (frank)ing hope so. I (frank)ing hate that piece of poop
but if he was on our team, id love him to death...hes just one of those guys
a guy I can see gudas being, having similar effects except he can back it up and nail the (frank) outta you, where marchand is all talk...
that's what makes him so annoying and irritating in my opinion |

I think it's wide open Would not be shocked to see Lindback or Bishop start like mike said depends on training camp and preseason! |

Michael Stuart: Tampa Bay Lightning 2013-14 Schedule Released - Michael_Stuart
The schedule is good, but I've tempered my expectations for the upcoming season. I would like to see consistent, solid, aggressive hockey game in and game out. I would love to be battling for a playoff spot come April, but as Lightning fans we MUST take this season as one of major transition from old team to new. |

Yeah I have thought that the whole time you said it best a transition year ... But at the same time even though we are young the team is looking so skilled and put together now ( if gudas forfills our top 4 problem transition year for him but hopefully all those games last year made him ready for top 4 duty ) that its hard not to be expecting at least a playoff run in the first round .. Especially with the new playoff system |
